2026 Unity Stole Celebration
As you may know, recent changes at Boise State University resulted in the discontinuation of diversity and inclusion initiatives — including all individual minority stole ceremonies that previously honored graduating students from underrepresented communities.
Graduating from college is a major life milestone — one of the most significant achievements in a student’s academic journey.
In response, alumni and community supporters are coming together to host the Unity Stole Celebration to be held May 5th at Kleiner Park — an inclusive event designed to honor all graduates who have historically been recognized with cultural stole ceremonies. This celebration reflects the strength of our diverse community and underscores that even when institutional recognition is absent, we will uplift and celebrate our own.
